Look at this picture and make your own:
M= # of marshmallows
T= # of toothpicks
F= # of faces (including the outside)
Find a formula that has only + = M T and F together that connects them all for any shape!!! Test it for other shapes

I couldn't figure out how to only use f,m,t,= and + but I remembered that in class you also said something about using the number 2, or the number 2 being involved in some way. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I did find a formula that at least works with the shapes you posted as well as the ones we did in class.
F + M - 2 = T
This one works for all of them but it uses 2 and it also uses subtraction.
Hannah, I think that F + M = T + 2 would give you the same results, if you take the formula you've given and add 2 to both sides that is what you would get and it seems to work.
F + M = T + 2 seems to work for me too!
